Recover your Stolen Car with Cyclops ANPR

Did you know …?
If
the police find your stolen car and take it away for fingerprinting,
they will make a statutory charge of £105. In addition, you will
have to pay a storage fee for each day it is in police custody.
In
some Police Authority areas, this is obligatory. You are not
allowed to recover your own vehicle. The cost of this forensic
work might be more than the value of your car!

Using a state-of-the-art ANPR (automatic number plate recognition) system,
Cyclops Stolen Car Finder will help you locate your stolen vehicle.
For your security and peace of mind, the Cyclops ANPR Stolen Car Finder vehicles
are all staffed by Certified Bailiffs.
For a one-off payment of only £35, details of
your stolen vehicle will be added to the company’s ANPR database. The
details of your stolen car will stay on the Cyclops system for 150 days, or
longer if requested. When the Cyclops database has your vehicle number
plate and your postcode on its system, the Cyclops’ team of Bailiffs will start
trying to locate your stolen car.
Safeguard your Car
You don’t have to wait for your car to be
stolen before
registering it with Cyclops Stolen Car Finder.
For just £35, you can register your car on the
Cyclops ANPR system. In the event of it being stolen, you simply call
Cyclops and within 24 hours the Cyclops ANPR vehicles will be looking for your
car.
Cyclops as a Deterrent
When you register your new car with Cyclops,
you will be sent a Cyclops Stolen Car Finder sticker to attach to your
windscreen. This tells would-be thieves your car is registered on the
Cyclops system, and will act as a deterrent. Potential car thieves will
know the Cyclops Bailiffs will be looking for your car using their powerful ANPR
system.
How the Stolen Car Finder ANPR System Works
Each of the Cyclops Stolen Car Finder vehicles
is fitted with up to 4 computerised ANPR (automatic number plate recognition)
cameras. Driving at normal speeds, the cameras record the number plates of every
car it passes.
Using your postcode as a starting point, the
Cyclops Stolen Car Finder vehicles travel though the target area, with the ANPR
system recording the number plates.
The sophisticated system will pick-up moving,
stationary, or parked vehicles, both on the road and on driveways. When
the system recognises a number plate as being on its ‘wanted’ database, an alarm
will sound, alerting the Bailiff to your vehicle’s presence.
When your vehicle is located, Cyclops will
immediately inform the police. You will then get a telephone call telling
you the exact location of your stolen car. Providing the police agree, you
can recover the vehicle yourself, or make the necessary arrangements with your
insurance company or breakdown service.
Reporting your Stolen Car to the Police
Cyclops Stolen Car Finder recommends you do
report your stolen vehicle to the police. You will need your crime report
number when you register your stolen vehicle with Cyclops. However, you
will need to remember the police force is overworked and may give priority to
other crimes in their area.
If the police succeed in finding your stolen
car, you may have to pay for forensic testing for fingerprints and DNA tests.
This can take several days and you will also be billed for your car’s storage
during this time.
With Cyclops ANPR Stolen Car Finder, you pay
only a one-off fee of £35. Once your stolen vehicle is registered on the
Cyclops database, the team of Registered Bailiffs will start looking for your
car. Once found, you can recover your car personally or ask your insurers
or breakdown company to recover it on your behalf.
If your car has been
stolen, register your details on the Cyclops Stolen Finders system right now by
clicking here. For only £35, your stolen car could soon be on its way
home.
